LIFE Groups
The LIFE GROUPS of CrossPointe Church is found in several areas. The first stop in on Sunday morning. An Adult Bible Study class, several groups for youth, and even more for children are available at 9:30 am. Women’s Bible study occurs on Thursday mornings on campus at 9:45 and on Wednesday evenings on campus at 7pm. Man2Man is a bi-monthly men’s meeting taylored to the spiritual lives of men. It is led by Pastor Jerry and the food, fellowship, and message are always something to look forward to. There are periodic meetings in homes, for salad suppers, and family group events at church. Life Groups are the small-group Bible studies of CrossPointe Church. We call them Life Groups because God consistently uses them to make a spiritual impact in people’s lives. Spiritual growth takes place as we seek to grow in our relationship with God in the context of close-knit relationships. Spiritual growth involves learning about God, caring for one another, sharing with those in need, and serving the larger community. A typical Life Group consists of 8 to 12 people who meet weekly or Bi-monthly. The groups are led by trained discussion leaders and usually meet in individual’s homes throughout the community. However, some of the groups choose to meet at the church in order to take advantage of the facilities. Many of our Life Groups consist of people who are at a similar age and stage in life and therefore can relate to each other’s situations. (For example, singles, young marrieds, couples with small children, seniors, etc.) While there are benefits to this kind of structure, we recognize that some people would rather be in a group with a diversity of ages and life stages. Therefore, we give people the freedom to choose the Impact Group that is the best fit for them. Life Groups Are People * Small groups of eight to twelve people * Led by a trained discussion leader Growing * Exploring and applying Biblical truths * Sharing burdens and joys * Living effectively in the world through Jesus Christ Together * Meeting on a regular basis in homes throughout the community * Building lasting relationships
