Our Vision The Worship Ministry of CrossPointe Church is committed to passionately engaging and leading the church in meaningful, biblical, and transcendent worship. In fact, each time we gather, be it in corporate worship on Sunday mornings, in our Impact Groups, Journey, or in our homes, our objective is to value God above all.
Our GoalsTo bring, every Sunday, music that reflects God’s truth and the longing of our hearts to love and adore Him. To be open to God’s leading in every area and have Him as source and end of everything we do. To strive for excellence – To offer the best that we can to honor our God. To commit ourselves, week in and week out, to be good stewards of the talent God has blessed us with. To work hard in rehearsing, preparing and improving ourselves to bless God and the Church. To encourage fellowship between all the singers and band members so that we can know, love and support each other. Join The Team!The Worship Ministry is always seeking people to join the team. If you are interested in becoming part of the Worship team please contact the worship director. We will be happy to talk to you!Music TeamsTo become a part of one of our vocal and/or band teams you will be required to read and fill out a Worship Ministry Information Packet and to have an interview and audition with the worship director. Our audition is just a way to see where your musical skills are and to try to best use your talent in the Church for God’s glory.Technical TeamsTechincal Team – Operate the sound, light and recording for the worship services and the worship team rehearsals. It is a position that works very closely with the worship director and requires not only good technical skills but a musical ear. Before becoming a Technical Team member you will need to interview with the worship director and go through at least 3 to 4-sessions of training. This is an excellent opportunity for service in the family at CrossPointe.Media Team – Run ProPresenter (Mac) for the Church services. This is a once a month commitment. Before helping with the ProPresenter you will need to go through a 1-session training. This is also an excellent (and less time consuming!) way to serve in the Church. Recording – Records the Sunday service. Make sure we have the Sunday podcast ready for the website! This is an once a month commitment. It is an easy and great way to serve!
Our Schedule!The Worship Team (vocal, band and technical team) meets every Thursday night from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m.
Our times together are times of worship (we love the Lord!), fellowship (we love each other!) and hard work!
