Our Vision
Our VisionI’m so glad you stopped by. I hope that our web site will be helpful for you and will answer some of your questions. I’d like to take a minute of your time and share with you our vision for CrossPointe Church. CrossPointe Church exists to impact the Austin area and beyond with the transforming love of Jesus Christ. For twenty-five years, Crosspointe has been committed to the historic truths of the Christian faith. We try to present those truths in a fresh and vibrant way. Our goal is to be a place that is alive and welcoming, as well as a place that worships God in truth, which is the primary reason for the church’s existence. We think that going to church should do at least three things for the person attending. First, we think everyone should be excited about coming to church. To help make that happen, we have lively, upbeat music and messages that are real, relevant and relational. We have an exciting and active children’s program and our youth are active and involved. Our goal is that the entire family would enjoy coming to church. The second value of our church is that it be a healing place. We understand that life is sometimes difficult so we try to provide an atmosphere that allows people to be real about their struggles and offers hope and help. We want folks to find a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to learn how to let Him bring healing to their hearts. A third value of our church is that we believe strongly that God’s word provides answers for today’s questions. Many people feel that the church is irrelevant today. We believe that the opposite is true. We believe God’s truths are more relevant and necessary than ever for navigating through life. We try to offer something every Sunday that will work on Monday, not pie-in- the-sky answers, but real-life messages. So, there you have it. That’s our church. CrossPointe Church is a place of hope, a place of healing and a place of strength. We hope that it will become your place as well, your church family. Jerry and Linda Rahm |
