On October 20th we will celebrate 40 years of God’s work in and through CrossPointe Church. As we look back and consider God’s faithfulness to this community, and the faith of those who came before us, we want to rejoice and give thanks to God for all he has done! CrossPointe was founded, and exists today, to make disciples of Jesus Christ as we proclaim the transforming love of God and seek to be obedient to his commands (Matt 28:18-20). As we celebrate this 40 year milestone we want to be reminded of this purpose as we also consider how God might work in and through CrossPointe moving forward. The ReNew Initiative (5 weeks, beginning Oct. 20th) is an opportunity for the individuals and families of CrossPointe church to take a step of faith together as we ask God to continue working in this community. We hope that through this initiative we will be renewed in our vision and purpose as God’s people in N. Austin. Along with spiritual growth, we hope this initiative leads to sustainability and growth in our ministries, as we steward the resources entrusted to us, so that we would continue to see people renewed by the gospel for years to come!
